Description

You will secure automotive embedded systems by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing low-level security measures.

Responsibilities

• Perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) and vulnerability analysis for automotive systems and ECUs based on ISO 21434 and UN ECE norms.
• Design and develop embedded attack vectors to perform penetration testing on vehicle networks and ECUs.
• Develop and deploy secure bootloaders, secure flashing, and secure on-board communication (SecOC) in resource-constrained environments.
• Implement Hardware Security Module (HSM) based security services and integrate Hardware Trust Anchors like HSM or ICUM.
• Design CAN Intrusion Detection Systems and automate cybersecurity functional and fuzz testing.
• Research industry landscapes to benchmark and document automotive security requirements.

Required Skills

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in embedded security or automotive cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Embedded C for low-level hardware, drivers, and sensors.
• Experience with Microcontrollers, various hardware boards, cross-compilers, and debugging hardware.
• Strong knowledge of CAN protocol, UDS protocol, and AUTOSAR.
• Scripting experience using Python or Perl.
• Hands-on experience with security standards including ISO 21434, UN ECE, ASPICE, and the V-Model.
• Working knowledge of cryptography, PKI/TLS, and Secure Vehicular Communication.
• Experience using CAN tools, network tools, and embedded hacking/sniffing/spoofing tools.
• Ability to analyze complex information within embedded automotive systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux and embedded system security architectures.
