Description

You will execute full-scale vehicle restorations and maintenance for classic models following factory standards.

Responsibilities

• Restore engines, transmissions, bodywork, electrical, and suspension components.
• Perform major and minor maintenance, including tire and wheel services.
• Diagnose malfunctions using customary or client-specific diagnostic tools to create repair lists and error reports.
• Develop cost estimates for parts and labor and plan work procedures using technical manuals.
• Conduct test drives and final inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automotive repair and restoration.
• Proven expertise in classic vehicle restoration and preservation.
• Deep knowledge of air-cooled engines, interior systems, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in tire mounting, balancing, and vehicle alignment using Hunter alignment machines.
• Ability to drive manual transmissions.
• Experience with PET2 and Dealer Management Systems.
• Competency in software-based work order management and time tracking.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills

• Automotive technical degree or PTAP graduate.
• Client Master Technician or Classic Technician Certification.
• German language proficiency.
