Description

Lead the design, development, and implementation of firmware for automotive body electronics embedded systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed software specifications, algorithms, and high-quality firmware code.
• Optimize CPU resources and conduct testing to ensure software quality.
• Maintain engineering documentation to meet quality system requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and support the software validation process.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and customer teams for project management and manufacturing support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in embedded products for automotive body electronics.
• Strong understanding of Autosar architecture.
• Expertise in Embedded C and Assembly language.
• Hands-on experience with I2C, SPI, RS232, UART, USB, and CAN protocols.
• Deep understanding of microcontrollers, peripherals, SoCs, and embedded development environments.
• Experience using emulators, debuggers, and stimulators.
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment including scopes, digital multi-meters, and logic analyzers.
• Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and hardware design.
• Experience developing requirements, design documents, and test cases using structured software development approaches.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with software configuration management tools.
• Knowledge of system-level architecture and design.
