Autosys Consultant

You will manage and maintain batch job workflows using Autosys.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain batch job workflows using AutoSys.
• Troubleshoot job failures, delays, or errors and ensure timely resolution.
• Implement and manage job dependencies, calendars, and box jobs.
• Develop scripts for job automation using Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
• Participate in on-call support rotation for critical production jobs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AutoSys.
• Strong understanding of job types, calendars, dependencies, and job states.
• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, or PowerShell).
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with job monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Basic knowledge of databases (Oracle/SQL Server) for querying job metadata/logs.
