Description

You will design, install, and manage audiovisual systems across office spaces, conference rooms, and event venues.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Design and configure AV systems for conference rooms, training centers, and all-hands event spaces.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Operate and support live events, including executive presentations and webcasts.
  • Maintain system health through regular preventative maintenance, firmware updates, and hardware checks.
  • Manage AV projects from conception to completion and coordinate with external integrators and vendors.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an AV Engineer or Senior AV Technician in a corporate environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of video conferencing systems such as Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms.
  • Proficiency with control systems including Crestron, Extron, and Q-SYS.
  • Experience with audio DSPs such as Biamp and Q-SYS.
  • Strong understanding of AV signal flow, video resolutions, and audio standards.
  • Practical knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, H.323, SIP, and Dante.
  • Ability to read technical schematics and troubleshoot complex integrated systems.
  • Working knowledge of Mac OS and IP networking systems.
  • Proven ability to manage high-profile live events and develop contingency plans.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • AVIXA CTS or CTS-D certifications, or manufacturer-specific certifications for Crestron or Biamp.
  • Experience with enterprise-level video streaming and content delivery networks.
