Avaloq Developer

You will provide functional and technical support for Avaloq implementations, translating client requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify programs using Avaloq standards and ICE tools to meet design specifications.
• Perform technical impact analysis and manage batch administration processes.
• Write detailed BRD, FSD, and TSD specifications for Avaloq development.
• Assist clients with Avaloq product implementation, customization, and parameterization.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and interpret business needs into optimal technical designs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Avaloq implementation for major banks or Avaloq product development.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL programming, including procedures, packages, functions, exceptions, and triggers.
• Strong SQL skills involving joins, functions, subqueries, and data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with Avaloq tools: Smart Client, ICE Workbench, Avaloq Scripting, Packages, and Body.
• Deep understanding of Avaloq data models and code auditing.
• Exposure to at least 2-3 Avaloq modules (CRT, INT, PFM, IRT, CRM, or FIN).
• Experience with Avaloq services such as Enterprise-Wide Object Model, Data Migration, Message Interface, or Reporting Engine.
• Proven ability to perform business and technical analysis, including writing user stories.

Preferred Skills

• ACCP certification.
• Experience in banking or wealth management within a consultancy or product environment.
