Description

Design, implement, and maintain AVEVA PI System architecture while managing data collection from industrial sources.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage data collection from SCADA, DCS, and IoT systems into PI Historian.
• Develop and maintain Asset Framework (AF) structures, templates, and hierarchies.
• Build dashboards and visualizations using PI Vision, Power BI, or other BI tools.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance optimization across the PI System.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with the AVEVA PI System (OSIsoft PI) suite.
• Hands-on expertise with PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Vision, and PI Interfaces (OPC, Modbus).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell and Python.
• Experience building visualizations with Power BI.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and time-series databases.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC DA/UA, MQTT) and SCADA/DCS systems.
• Solid grasp of networking, system architecture, and cybersecurity basics.
• Familiarity with AVEVA PI security principles and application.
