Description

Lead avionics development programs through the full government contract acquisition lifecycle, managing project teams and subcontractors to meet customer requirements within budget and schedule.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage program cost baselines using EVMS metrics to track progress and reduce variances.
• Develop the program technical baseline and manage schedule execution while mitigating risks.
• Facilitate continuous improvement and capability releases within the production test environment.
• Coordinate resource and material estimation with stakeholders and resource managers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience leading Government Contract development programs.
• Experience with the government contract acquisition lifecycle.
• Experience managing design to cost activities.
• Experience with program pursuit and proposal activities.
• Proficiency in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and techniques.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Project engineering experience on development programs with a focus on avionics software and hardware.
• Ability to interface with customers from engineering levels to executive leadership.
• Expertise in project execution and management.
