Description

You will perform high-level and low-level software testing for avionics and mission systems within a SIL environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute unit and integration testing using VectorCAST.
• Develop automated test procedures and result-gathering scripts using C#, Visual Studio Code, or Python.
• Manage HLR and LLR version control using Git, IBM Rational DOORS, and Micro Focus Dimensions.
• Apply certification processes including DO-178C, DO-297, DO-326, DO-254, and ARP 4754A.
• Integrate embedded hardware and software in a SIL environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded hardware and software integration testing.
• Proficiency in C# and C++.
• Experience with automated test script generation.
• Knowledge of DO-160C validation and verification processes.
• Familiarity with communication standards: ARINC 429, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, MIL-1553, TCP/IP, TSN, and DDS.
• Experience with Git, IBM Rational DOORS, and Micro Focus Dimensions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Software, Computer, or Computer Engineering, or significant equivalent test experience.
• Ability to attain a US Government Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cameo for MBSE requirements management.
