Description

Own the full lifecycle of avionics test solutions from concept and design through verification, validation, and deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop test system requirements, validation procedures, and technical solutions for build specifications.
• Decompose customer specifications and system-level requirements into sub-system hardware and software specifications.
• Analyze test failures and support initiatives to reduce test time.
• Perform verification and validation of test solutions and conduct trade studies for benchmarking.
• Write technical documentation including processes, policies, and acceptance test methods.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Hands-on integration experience with test systems.
• Proficiency in scripting with C#, Python, or Java.
• Experience with LabVIEW.
• Ability to translate code, though primary coding is not required.
• Experience writing technical documentation and requirements.
• Knowledge of Ethernet protocols.
• Must be a U.S. Person or Permanent Resident.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of optics, including cameras or lenses.
• Experience with avionics industry standards such as ARINC-429, ARINC-661, ARINC-664, ARINC-818, or IEEE 802.3.
• Familiarity with engineering tools like DOORS, Jama, or Matlab.
