Description

You will design and execute large-scale migrations from on-premises VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement large-scale AVS migrations in collaboration with architects and delivery teams.
• Execute customer migrations from on-premises VMware to AVS.
• Define migration requirements by collaborating with application, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Document processes and conduct internal training to share technical knowledge.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
• 4+ years of experience in VMware vSphere and Azure cloud deployments or migrations.
• Proficiency with VMware vSphere 6.0+, NSX-T (DNS, DHCP, Firewall, NSX-v to NSX-T migration), and VMware vSAN.
• Hands-on experience with VMware HCX (Advanced & Enterprise).
• Experience with Azure networking, including ExpressRoute, VPN, Virtual WAN, and Route Server.
• Proven track record with VMware/Cloud migrations using HCX.
• Strong infrastructure knowledge covering hypervisors, networking, HA, patching, and monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technology.

Preferred Skills

• VMware SRM, vSphere Replication, vCD, vROps, vRNI, or vRLI.
• Azure Disk Pools, Azure NetApp Files, Azure Monitor, Arc, or Security Center.
• VCTA, VCP-DCV, CCNP, or VCP-NV certifications.
