Description

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for AASHTOWare Project software modules, specifically Preconstruction, Civil Rights and Labor, and Data Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and engineer current or future business processes to support software implementation.
• Create and document user stories, use cases, test cases, and test scripts within an Agile/DevOps environment.
• Develop SQL queries and XML interface changes to support UX modifications and reporting.
• Ensure software quality for new enhancements and reduce technical debt by adhering to AASHTO implementation standards.
• Design integrations between AASHTOWare Project and legacy systems such as SAP and SharePoint.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical specialist or SME roles.
• Expertise in AASHTOWare Project modules, including Preconstruction and Data Analytics.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data reporting and analysis.
• Experience with XML for interface and UX modifications.
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience designing system integrations with SAP and SharePoint.
• Solid grasp of application development and architecture principles.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into technical user stories.

Preferred Skills

• Experience documenting specific Bidding and Letting business processes.
