Description

Manage and maintain multiple AWS accounts within a state-level cloud infrastructure. Own the configuration, compliance, and audit programs for all resources.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud resources, cost drivers, compute, storage, and networking to identify optimization opportunities.
• Maintain cloud-based servers by patching vulnerabilities, managing backup and restore operations, and provisioning new instances.
• Configure firewalls, monitoring systems, and account containerization or tagging for cost center billing.
• Use AWS Config and CloudTrail to track resource configurations, remediate drift, and conduct compliance audits.
• Document and maintain configuration items in ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud Administration and public cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• 8+ years of experience as a System Administrator in Windows and Linux environments.
• 8+ years of experience using automation frameworks such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless access points, and storage arrays.
• Experience with server operating systems, hardware, and security applications.
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.
• AWS Certification (documentation required).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring tools, middleware software, and ITSM tools.
