You will manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, focusing on security, scalability, and reliability across cloud environments.
Responsibilities
Establish configuration, compliance, and audit programs to manage AWS accounts and resources using AWS Config and CloudTrail.
Review cloud resource cost drivers, including compute, storage, network, databases, and service licenses.
Maintain cloud-based servers by patching vulnerabilities, managing backup/restore operations, provisioning servers, and configuring firewalls and monitoring systems.
Deploy and optimize Amazon EKS clusters, implementing Kubernetes best practices for auto-scaling, high availability, and fault tolerance.
Manage account containerization and tagging for internal cost centers and client billing feeds.
Required Skills
10 years of Cloud Administration experience.
Strong system administration experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
Extensive technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure, including switches, routers, server operating systems, hardware, storage arrays, and security applications.
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure public cloud environments.
Experience with automation using frameworks such as SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
Proficiency with current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and procedural documentation.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred Skills
Experience with monitoring tools, middleware software, and ITSM tools.
Working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes in an ITIL-driven environment.
