Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and reliability. Own the configuration, compliance, and audit programs for AWS accounts and resources. Monitor cost drivers across compute, storage, network, managed services, and licenses. Maintain cloud servers through patching, vulnerability management, backup/restore, and provisioning.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and optimize Amazon EKS clusters for containerized applications using Kubernetes best practices.
- Manage account containerization, tagging, and cost allocation for internal cost centers and client billing.
- Use AWS Config and CloudTrail to track resource configurations and conduct compliance audits.
- Maintain cloud-based servers through patching, vulnerability management, backup/restore, and provisioning.
- Establish configuration, compliance, and audit programs to manage AWS accounts and resources.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of Cloud Administration experience.
- Extensive experience with AWS infrastructure and public cloud environments.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and managing Amazon EKS clusters.
- Strong system administration experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
- Deep technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including switches, routers, server OS, hardware, and storage arrays.
- Ability to manage security applications, firewalls, and monitoring systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with monitoring tools, middleware software, and ITSM tools.
- Working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes within an ITIL-driven environment.
