AWS Administrator

You will manage AWS accounts, resources, and identity services to ensure security, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Establish configuration, compliance, and audit programs using AWS Config and CloudTrail to remediate configuration drift.
• Implement and manage Active Directory services, including AD Domain Services, ADFS, and Certificate Services within AWS.
• Integrate AWS Managed Microsoft AD with on-premises infrastructure and automate resource provisioning.
• Monitor cloud resource usage, cost drivers, and rightsizing to optimize storage, compute, and network spend.
• Maintain cloud-based servers through vulnerability patching, backup/restore operations, and firewall configuration.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of Cloud Administration experience.
• Extensive experience with AWS environments and public cloud infrastructure.
• Strong system administration skills in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Deep technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure, including switches, routers, server OS, and storage arrays.
• Experience managing Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
• Proficiency in automation using frameworks such as SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Solid understanding of current network protocols, operating systems, and security standards.
• Ability to work within ITIL-driven environments and follow ITIL processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring tools, middleware software, and ITSM tools.
• Experience with Azure cloud environments.
