You will manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability across cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain configuration, compliance, and audit programs for AWS accounts and resources.
• Monitor cloud resource costs, compute, storage, networking, and managed services to identify optimization opportunities.
• Maintain cloud-based servers through patching, vulnerability management, backups, and provisioning.
• Deploy and optimize Amazon EKS clusters, implementing Kubernetes best practices for auto-scaling and high availability.
• Manage account containerization, tagging, and cost allocation for internal and client billing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Cloud Administration and AWS Solution Architecture.
• 10+ years of experience in public cloud environments, including AWS and/or Azure.
• 10+ years of experience as a System Administrator.
• 8+ years of experience with automation frameworks such as SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• 8+ years of system administration experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including switches, routers, server OS, and storage arrays.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and container management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an ITIL-driven environment.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools, middleware software, and ITSM tools.
