Description

You will manage and maintain multiple AWS accounts within a state-level infrastructure environment, ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and system reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain configuration, compliance, and audit programs for AWS resources and accounts.
• Review cloud resources to optimize elasticity, rightsizing compute, storage, network, and managed services.
• Maintain cloud-based servers through patching, vulnerability management, backup/restore operations, and provisioning.
• Manage account containerization and tagging for internal cost centers and client billing.
• Monitor cost allocations, security compliance, and budgets using AWS Config and CloudTrail, remediating configuration drift.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Cloud Administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Audit Manager.
• Strong system administration experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including switches, routers, server operating systems, and storage arrays.
• Experience in public cloud environments, specifically AWS and/or Azure.
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes in an ITIL-driven environment.
• Proficiency with current network protocols, operating systems, and standards.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to interpret technical manuals and procedural documentation.
