Description

You will administer and maintain multiple AWS accounts within the state infrastructure, ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and system reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain configuration, compliance, and audit programs for AWS accounts and resources.
• Review cloud resources and cost drivers across compute, storage, network, managed services, and databases.
• Monitor rightsizing, elasticity, and storage optimization to identify and eliminate unused resources.
• Maintain cloud-based servers through patching, vulnerability management, backup/restore operations, and provisioning.
• Manage account containerization and tagging to support cost centers and billing feeds.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience in AWS and public cloud environments.
• 8 years of experience as a System Administrator.
• 8 years of experience with automation frameworks such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• 8 years of experience in Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless access points, and storage arrays.
• Proficiency with AWS and Azure.
• Experience documenting configuration items in ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certification.
• Experience with monitoring tools, middleware software, and ITSM tools.
