You will manage AWS accounts, resources, and compliance programs within a managed services environment.
Responsibilities
Establish configuration, compliance, and audit programs to manage AWS accounts and resources.
Monitor cloud resource usage, cost drivers, and identify opportunities for rightsizing and storage optimization.
Maintain cloud-based servers by patching vulnerabilities, managing backups, and provisioning new instances.
Configure firewalls, monitoring systems, and manage account containerization and tagging for billing.
Use AWS Config and CloudTrail to track resource configurations, remediate drift, and conduct compliance audits.
Required Skills
5 years of Cloud Administration experience.
Strong system administration experience in Windows and Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points, and storage arrays.
Experience with automation using frameworks such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
Proficiency in documenting configuration item information within ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
Working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and procedural documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 6 years of OS administration experience, or an Associate degree with 3 years of experience.
