You will manage AWS accounts, resources, and compliance programs within a managed services environment.
Responsibilities
- Establish configuration, compliance, and audit programs to manage AWS accounts and resources.
- Monitor cloud resource usage, cost drivers, and identify opportunities for rightsizing and storage optimization.
- Maintain cloud-based servers by patching vulnerabilities, managing backups, and provisioning new instances.
- Configure firewalls, monitoring systems, and manage account containerization and tagging for billing.
- Use AWS Config and CloudTrail to track resource configurations, remediate drift, and conduct compliance audits.
Required Skills
- 5 years of Cloud Administration experience.
- Strong system administration experience in Windows and Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points, and storage arrays.
- Experience with automation using frameworks such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
- Proficiency in documenting configuration item information within ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
- Working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and procedural documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 6 years of OS administration experience, or an Associate degree with 3 years of experience.
