Description

You will manage AWS accounts, resources, and compliance programs within a managed services environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain configuration, compliance, and audit programs for AWS accounts.
• Monitor cloud resource usage, cost drivers, and identify opportunities for rightsizing and storage optimization.
• Maintain cloud-based servers by patching vulnerabilities, managing backups, and provisioning new instances.
• Configure firewalls and monitoring systems while managing account containerization and tagging for billing.
• Use AWS Config and CloudTrail to track resource configurations, remediate drift, and conduct compliance audits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Cloud Administration experience.
• Strong system administration experience in Windows and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points, and storage arrays.
• Experience with automation using frameworks such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Proficiency in documenting configuration item information within ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and procedural documentation.
