Description

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based RESTful APIs within an AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using AWS Lambda, Python, and API Gateway.
• Develop and maintain code following Test Driven Development (TDD) practices with automated unit testing.
• Implement security mechanisms including authentication, authorization, and tokenization.
• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform and AWS Step Functions.
• Optimize API performance and latency while integrating with backend systems and Postgres stored procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend or cloud development.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Experience with OAuth, JWT, and API key management.
• Expertise in unit testing using Pytest and PyCharm.
• Ability to handle large datasets and integrate with Postgres stored procedures.
• Experience with Terraform and AWS Step Functions.
• Familiarity with Agile development workflows.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Developer certification.
