Description

You will build scalable serverless platforms by engaging directly with AWS APIs and maintaining an API-first approach.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
• Manage API development using an API-first approach with OpenAPI.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing processes using ADO.
• Design, code, and participate in peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to maintain strong engineering fundamentals.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python and JSON.
• Hands-on experience with API Gateway and AWS Lambda.
• Experience with Amazon Aurora, SNS, and SQS.
• Knowledge of CloudFormation for infrastructure management.
• Competency in REST API development, testing, and maintenance.
• Experience with ADO pipeline development and deployment.
• Ability to use CLI and AWS tools for PowerShell.
• Familiarity with IAM and Step Functions.
• Strong understanding of automated testing and OpenAPI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API-first development methodologies.
