Description

Build and maintain scalable backend services on AWS, focusing on serverless architectures and event-driven systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Implement complex, multi-step workflows using AWS Step Functions to orchestrate AWS services.
• Develop event-driven architectures leveraging AWS EventBridge and Event Buses.
• Build automation for the Self Service Web Portal and maintain existing order execution systems.
• Integrate backend services with external systems via Kafka or APIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience developing backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI, including boto3 and moto.
• Deep experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architecture patterns.
• Expertise in orchestrating workflows using AWS Step Functions.
• Familiarity with event-driven patterns using AWS Event Bus.
• Experience with AWS DevOps tools, including Git and GitHub Actions.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services like DynamoDB and OpenSearch.
• Experience architecting cloud infrastructure (e.g., VPC, DNS).
