Description

Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications on AWS, owning the release pipeline and ensuring high availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship new features with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize application performance for scalability and high availability.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS services.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues to meet tight SLAs.
• Provide technical guidance and implement AWS best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an AWS Applications Engineer or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in Python and Django.
• Experience supporting RESTful web services.
• Hands-on ETL experience with AWS Glue and S3.
• Proficiency in SQL (AWS Athena).
• Front-end skills in HTML and JavaScript.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Developer certification.
• Experience with serverless architecture, microservices, or containers (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Proficiency in Java, Node.js, or Pandas for debugging.
