Description

You will design cloud architecture strategies, lead migrations, and define technical directions for engineering teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud and transform migrated applications.
• Design application and cloud architectures using microservices patterns and principles.
• Automate cloud provisioning and deprovisioning using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into clear technical directions for engineering teams.
• Manage ambiguous technical situations to provide structure and direction for development teams.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience in application development and management.
• 10+ years of experience in application and cloud architecture.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, specifically EC2, RDS, and S3/Block storage.
• Proven experience with Data Migration and on-prem to cloud transformations.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Strong background in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Practical experience with DevOps and CI/CD workflows.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with FinOps practices.
