Description

You will design and implement low-level infrastructure solutions and reusable reference architecture patterns to support platform development.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect low-level infrastructure and design reusable reference patterns for application development.
• Operationalize platforms for security, reliability, performance, and cost optimization using the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement solutions via infrastructure as code and automation.
• Identify environment risks to stability and security, then define and deliver technical solutions.
• Gather business and technical requirements through collaboration with customers and project teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant IT experience.
• 5+ years of AWS cloud-native and serverless solutions architecture.
• 2+ years of on-prem solutions architecture.
• Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with VMware, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and SSL certificates.
• Familiarity with twelve-factor, microservices, and API-first architectures.
• Bachelor's degree, technical certificate, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Participation in scrum ceremonies and roadmap planning.
• Providing cost estimations for designed solutions.
