Description

You will design and lead the modernization of enterprise-scale cloud solutions on AWS, focusing on migrating and optimizing J2EE applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud architectures for enterprise workloads.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premise environments to AWS.
• Architect and optimize solutions involving J2EE-based enterprise applications (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat).
• Define cloud best practices, security standards, and governance frameworks.
• Support CI/CD implementation and infrastructure automation initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with strong architecture and design expertise.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• Strong background in J2EE application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, or Tomcat.
• Experience with application migration, modernization, and cloud transformation projects.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Technical leadership and mentoring experience for development and engineering teams.
• Experience evaluating existing systems for performance, scalability, and cost optimization.
