Description

You will design and migrate applications onto the AWS platform, ensuring cloud-ready solution designs through architectural leadership.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural discussions to ensure scalable and cloud-ready solution designs.
• Build customer solutions using automation and delivery mechanisms for scalability.
• Troubleshoot performance degradation and manage time-critical service incidents.
• Mentor the AWS professional services team by sharing best-practice knowledge.
• Own technical issues through cross-team collaboration and escalation management.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for distributed applications or systems architecture.
• 5 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud deployment.
• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting and automation tools including Lambda, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, and Powershell.
• Experience with Python, YAML, Git, Maven, Nexus, and Packer.
