Description

You will design and oversee cloud and application architectures within an AWS environment, leading large-scale migrations from on-premises systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design application and cloud architectures to support large-scale migrations from on-prem to cloud.
• Automate cloud provisioning and deprovisioning using CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code to enforce controls.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into clear technical directions for engineering teams.
• Manage ambiguous technical situations and provide direction to development teams.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in IT, focused on Application Development and Management.
• 10+ years of experience in application and cloud architecture.
• 3+ years of direct experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, and S3/Block storage.
• Proficiency with CloudFormation or Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with data migration and transforming migrated applications.
• Strong ability to implement pipeline modifications and controls enforcement.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with FinOps.
