Description

Design and implement large-scale, multi-region cloud data lake solutions on AWS. Own the architecture for streaming and event-driven logging systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect multi-region data lakes using VPC, Transit Gateway, MSK, EC2, Lambda, Glue, S3, KMS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform to automate cloud resource provisioning.
• Manage and optimize AWS container services, specifically EKS and ECS, for production workloads.
• Develop serverless functions and backend logic using Python and SQL.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of extensive expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, multi-region cloud data lake solutions.
• Deep proficiency with AWS networking and security: VPC, Transit Gateway, connectivity options, KMS, IAM.
• Expert-level experience with AWS container orchestration: EKS and ECS.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data and streaming services: MSK, Glue, S3, CloudWatch.
• Programming expertise in Python and SQL.
• Experience with serverless cloud programming (Lambda).
