Description

You will design and oversee the transition of applications to cloud-based serverless and microservices architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Re-architect existing applications into serverless solutions using microservices models and managed services.
• Partner with application teams to build, own, and manage cloud-based services.
• Design security solutions to protect cloud-based applications and systems.
• Provide architectural guidance and best-practice recommendations to engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot implementation issues within the AWS environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a software application architect.
• Expertise in architecting high-performance big data applications using Hadoop and AWS managed big data services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, VPC, ELB, S3, EFS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, Route 53, DynamoDB, and Kinesis.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience working in Linux (Red Hat Enterprise) environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment) models.
• Experience securing cloud-based systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing CI/CD models specifically on AWS.
