Description

Design and maintain scalable backend services and cloud-native architectures within an AWS environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Implement automated CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Deploy and manage applications using AWS Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, and other core services.
• Provision infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Integrate logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Python and/or Java development.
• Deep proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code.
• Proficiency in containerization using Docker.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and cloud security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, ELK, or Prometheus/Grafana.
