Description

You will design and implement large-scale cloud architectures and data science projects within the AWS ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define high-level and low-level designs for AWS cloud-native solutions.
• Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Lead technical requirement sessions and perform rapid discovery work or POCs for data engineering tasks.
• Maintain and improve data integration pipelines to optimize performance.
• Create project estimations and delivery plans within an Agile/Scrum framework.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience developing applications using the AWS cloud-native stack.
• AWS Certification is required.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with AI/ML services including AWS SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Studio, and Azure Cognitive Services.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and visualization.
• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, including query and table optimization.
• Experience with Tableau for data visualization.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability practices.
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using GitOps, Bitbucket, EKS, Kubernetes, and S3 automation.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting knowledge in Shell or Python.
• Domain knowledge in Pharma life sciences or drug discovery.
