You will own the architecture and delivery of cloud solutions on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle for AWS solutions, including planning, development, and deployment.
• Define and document best practices for application deployment and overall cloud strategy.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, implement fixes, and establish preventive measures.
• Guide the development team, providing thought leadership to build cloud competencies.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability while maintaining high code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms.
• Hands-on experience creating large-scale data processing pipelines using Snowflake, Kafka, or MongoDB.
• Core understanding of Kafka topics and producer/consumer patterns.
• Proficiency in at least one language: .Net, Java, Python, or Go.
• Good working knowledge of microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, Rancher).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles using GitLab, Terraform, or HELM.
• Familiarity with AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC).
• Experience implementing monitoring and logging using CloudWatch or Splunk.
• Knowledge of web services and API design.
