Description

You will design and lead data architecture solutions across hybrid environments and cloud platforms. You own the technical and functional implementations for information delivery, analytics, and business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute data lake implementations, core modernization, and data ingestion strategies.
• Manage workloads independently to meet deadlines and project objectives.
• Troubleshoot complex data architecture issues using mature judgment.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences through written documentation and presentations.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of technology architecture experience focusing on analytics and business intelligence.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with data lake implementations and data ingestion.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with big data technologies including MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Spark, Flume, YARN, Kafka, or Storm.
• Experience with HDFS commercial distributions such as Hortonworks, Cloudera, Pivotal HD, or MapR.
• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB and Cassandra.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational data warehouses.
• 8+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience.
• 2+ years in a technical or functional lead role.
