Description

You will design and implement scalable, resilient cloud architectures to drive AWS adoption and solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud migration, modernization, and multi-cloud strategies to accelerate AWS service adoption.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and provide technical expertise for complex commercial and technical challenges.
• Assist agencies with architectural decisions to optimize applications for cost and performance.
• Review existing system architectures to identify refactoring and cloud platforming opportunities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years in enterprise full-lifecycle architecture.
• 5-8 years of hands-on technical application architecture and modernization experience.
• 5+ years of success in consultative technical projects and stakeholder management.
• Extensive experience architecting, designing, and programming applications for cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of highly available systems using load balancing and horizontal scalability.
• Broad knowledge of AWS/Public Cloud application design, solution architecture, and underlying technologies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, security, and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with GCP, OCI, or state and local government environments.
