Description

You will design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable AWS cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AWS architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements.
• Develop and enforce security standards using IAM, security groups, and encryption to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA.
• Implement cloud governance frameworks, including tagging strategies, cost management, and automated compliance monitoring via AWS Config and CloudWatch.
• Lead migration projects to transition legacy applications to AWS and optimize workloads for performance and cost.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert, mentoring junior members and maintaining detailed architecture documentation.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of IT experience with at least 5 years focused on AWS cloud architecture.
• Deep expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, and CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security features such as IAM, KMS, Security Hub, and WAF.
• Proficiency in automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation tasks.
• Practical experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• In-depth understanding of network security, firewalls, and VPNs in cloud environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a related technical field.
