Description

You will design, manage, and optimize production systems within AWS environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall application availability, latency, and system health through proactive monitoring.
  • Develop and manage configuration scripts for Amazon hosted infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Optimize AWS resources including EKS, EMR, and EC2 for performance and cost management.
  • Implement alert standards and develop logging and indexing strategies to improve visibility.
  • Build reporting dashboards to monitor system stability and cloud expenditure.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • 4+ years of experience running production systems on AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with EKS, EMR, and AWS native services.
  • Proficiency with Datadog or similar site monitoring and log monitoring tools.
  • Experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, DynamoDB, S3, and Cognito.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source control management using Git or SVN.

Preferred Skills

  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
  • Experience with Couchbase and Windows Server/IIS.
