Description

You will design and lead the implementation of complex cloud-native solutions and architectural structures within a large financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and architectural designs.
• Develop unique solutions for systems design and Kubernetes-based capabilities.
• Design solution architectures focused on resiliency, availability, and failover/recovery strategies.
• Manage maintenance, updates, and scaling strategies for existing cloud structures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud architecture and implementing security guardrails for APIs, Micro-Services, and Streaming.
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented design patterns and domain-driven design principles.
• Expertise in Data Domains including Data analytics, DMS, Relational, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with AWS services including S3, Lambda, Kinesis, App Mesh, ELB, ElastiCache, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Experience with container services such as ECS, EKS, and Fargate.
• Knowledge of IaC using Terraform and DevOps automation.
• Experience with industry security frameworks such as ISO, SOX, SWIFT, OWASP, NIST, and FedRAMP.
• Proficiency with the Atlassian suite including JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP, CEH, GIAC, GSESEC, or CSSLP certifications.
• Knowledge of zero trust architecture and experience with Security Operation Centres (SOCs).
• Experience with Amazon ECR and AWS Cloud Native tools like SQS, SNS, SES, and Step Functions.
