Description

You will lead cloud architecture and management efforts across multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure focused on security, performance, and cost optimization.
• Build and configure resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation methodologies.
• Support agencies through architectural planning and hands-on environment setup for cloud migration.
• Manage and mentor an existing cloud team.
• Develop technical documentation, including design diagrams, runbooks, and configuration standards.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and database teams to ensure cross-functional integration.
• Troubleshoot environment issues and ensure alignment with NIST 800-53 and data privacy regulations.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in AWS, cloud frameworks, and cloud pattern architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Expertise in Aurora, Elastic Beanstalk, PaaS, IaaS, and cloud database technologies.
• Experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) or policy-as-code tools.
• Proficiency in scripting, automation, and SIEM solutions.
• Technical knowledge of AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, and GCP Security Command Center.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks including NIST, CIS, FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
• Ability to architect for both DevOps and operations environments.
• Proven ability to debate technical designs and identify architectural flaws.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• CISSP or CCSP certifications.
• Working knowledge of State of Missouri IT systems and large-scale maintenance/operations projects.
