Description

You will design and build performant, cost-optimized systems and data platforms within AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale data platforms, including data lakes, meshes, fabrics, and warehouses.
• Implement data pipelines using ETL/ELT technologies on AWS infrastructure.
• Create logical and physical database models, entity relationship diagrams, and data dictionaries.
• Present technical solutions to Architecture and Software review boards.
• Analyze complex software systems to isolate defects, assess risk, and understand customer deployments.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience designing and building systems in AWS.
• 10 years of experience with data platforms, data lakes, or large data management systems.
• 8 years of experience designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL/ELT technologies.
• 8 years of experience designing databases and creating entity relationship diagrams.
• 8 years of experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience building cloud infrastructure and data pipelines on AWS.
• Proficiency with SQL, Apache Hadoop, Spark, and Airflow.
• Knowledge of NIST and FISMA security review and ATO processes.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience presenting to executive or architectural review boards.
