Description

You will design, deploy, and manage highly available, scalable database solutions on AWS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable database solutions using AWS services including EC2, RDS, and S3.
• Implement IAM policies and security measures to protect database environments.
• Monitor system health and performance using Splunk and Datadog.
• Automate routine database platform operations using Python scripting.
• Manage cloud resources through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as a Database Engineer or in a similar role.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server and Always On clusters.
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL database technology.
• Proficiency with AWS services including IAM, EC2, RDS, and S3.
• Strong programming skills in Python for automation.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
• Experience working within Agile environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing Oracle and SQL Server databases.
