Description

You will design and manage highly available, scalable database solutions within AWS environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage highly available, scalable databases using SQL Server, Always On, and Windows Clusters.
• Build automation frameworks and collaborate with application teams to troubleshoot and debug integration issues.
• Act as the technical point of contact for solution discussions with customers.
• Maintain database infrastructure alongside onshore and offshore teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of SQL Server administrator experience.
• Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Strong PowerShell scripting abilities for automation, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, specifically EC2 instances.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and Always On availability groups.
• Knowledge of database security best practices and high availability setups for cloud environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Oracle RDS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• AWS cloud platform certifications.
• Experience with additional automation tools such as DMS.
