Description

You will manage and optimize database environments within AWS cloud infrastructure, owning the full lifecycle of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle instances.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage SQL Server environments, including Always On clusters and secondary databases.
• Automate database provisioning and management workflows using Python and Terraform.
• Maintain and scale PostgreSQL and Oracle database instances.
• Monitor system health and performance using Splunk and Datadog.
• Configure and secure cloud resources using IAM, EC2, RDS, and S3.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as a Database Engineer or in a similar cloud-focused role.
• Expertise in SQL Server and Always On clusters.
• Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Python for automation.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Strong familiarity with AWS services including IAM, EC2, RDS, and S3.
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing Oracle databases.
