Description

Migrate on-premises applications to AWS and build distributed systems using microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing applications from on-premises environments to AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain distributed systems using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Develop and extend code to automate processes via CI/CD pipelines.
• Assess applications to determine appropriate infrastructure patterns and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with peers to define engineering standards and system-wide best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and cloud development.
• Hands-on experience building applications on AWS, including EC2, EMR, S3, EBS, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in AWS Data Integration (Glue), IAM, Networking, and Monitoring tools.
• Strong engineering skills in Java EE, Java Lambdas, Java Streams API, and functional programming.
• Experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and deployment automation using GitLab pipelines.
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala.
