Description

Design and implement cloud solutions ensuring compute uptime, scalability, and maintainability. You will manage cloud environments, support internal and external customers, and lead vendor feature tracking.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement proper cloud solutions for internal and external customers.
• Manage cloud environments following security guidelines and best practices.
• Assist with automated backup and recovery of cloud-based systems.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for platform support.
• Lead vendors through feature tracking and prioritization.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience supporting public cloud platforms.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud system integration, support, and automation.
• Hands-on operational understanding of EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, SSM, SG, VPC, and Route 53.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of DevOps and agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications (Associate level or higher) and Kubernetes certifications.
• Experience with Kubernetes administration, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash.
