Description

You will lead the migration of on-premises workloads to AWS while maintaining existing local infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment and planning for on-premises workload migration using rehost, re-platform, refactor, and repurchase strategies.
• Design, architect, and implement cloud solutions using EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
• Manage cloud infrastructure through provisioning, scaling, and monitoring while mitigating security risks.
• Support and maintain on-premises servers, networks, and applications, including participating in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud-based applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer.
• 7+ years of experience with AWS services including compute, storage, networking, and security.
• 4+ years of experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
• 4+ years of experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• 4+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• 4+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• 4+ years of experience with AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer).
• 4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Experience using AWS Migration Service, AWS Database Migration Service, and AWS Snowball.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with security frameworks like SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
• 2+ years of experience with VMware virtualization.
