Description

You will design, build, and support resilient public cloud platforms on AWS while driving the adoption of utility computing services.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy secure, high-performing cloud platforms using AWS core services.
• Automate routine tasks and provide primary operational support for the public cloud platform.
• Optimize system performance and manage public cloud costs through effective architectural design.
• Execute resiliency tests, game days, and chaos engineering exercises to ensure platform stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure applications meet strict non-functional requirements for cloud onboarding.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in a technical development or lead role with 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification is required.
• Strong proficiency in AWS core services: EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, Route53, VPC, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, ECS, and EKS.
• Experience with container orchestration and tools: Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in DevOps toolchain: Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, GitHub, Maven, and SonarQube.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Programming languages: Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala.
• Monitoring solutions: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Experience with high-volume, mission-critical applications and event-driven architectures.
