Description

You will manage and optimize virtual desktop environments and cloud infrastructure within a complex multi-account AWS environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot AWS AppStream 2.0 and Workspaces for application streaming and desktop virtualization.
• Implement security controls including encryption, access controls, MFA, and AWS WAF rules.
• Automate infrastructure management and software deployments using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Lead high-severity incident response and troubleshooting efforts to ensure quick service recovery.
• Design and implement architectures following the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS AppStream and Workspaces.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for infrastructure as code.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows and Linux desktop environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with W365 VDI.
